The Plasmid Miniprep Kit provides a fast and simple method for purifying plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures. Plasmid Miniprep Kit contains chaotropic salt that enhances the binding of DNA onto a glass surface and reagents for alkaline lysis to purify easily plasmid DNA from bacteria. The column is packed with glass fiber and has enough surface area to bind up to 20-30µg of high copy plasmid DNA. Phenol extraction and ethanol precipitation are not required. The Plasmid Miniprep kit shortens the handling time to about 25 minutes. Purified plasmid DNA is ready for restriction enzyme digestion, ligation, transformation, sequencing reactions, and Library screening.

Isolation of plasmid DNA
