Overview

SeeNATM LED illuminator is designed for safe environment and minimized damage of DNA/RNA samples. In addition, it is optimized to observe stained protein samples. This instrument is suitable for detecting green fluorescent; it can be applied with a harmful reagent like Ethidium Bromide that is normally used. We all hope that the product purchased meets and exceeds your goals and expectations

SeeNATM LED illuminator is suitable for research use only.
Human naked eyes with long time irradiation of blue light may have the probability of suffering from retina diseases. The amber(Orange) filter provides blue light protection. However, it does not guarantee complete protection. It is designed to shield the person working at the SeeNATM LED illuminator only

Warranty

SeeNATM LED illuminator is guaranteed to be free of defects in materials, workmanship and manufacture for a period of two years from the date purchased. Mbiotech, Inc. is not responsible for any injury or damage caused by the use of this instrument for purposes other than those for which it is intended, or by modifications of the instrument not performed by Mbiotech, Inc. or an authorized agent.

Additional Information

When nucleic acid(DNA/RNA) is stained with SeeNATM, SeeNATM LED illuminator show the best results. SeeNATM is a new, safe nucleic acid stain solution instead of traditional ethidium bromide(EtBr) in agarose gel. It emits green fluorescence when bound to ds DNA and red fluorescence when bound to ssDNA or RNA. This new stain solution has two fluorescence excitation maxima when bound to nucleic acid, one centered at approximately 290nm and one at approximately 490 nm. Compared to EtBr known as strong mutagen, SeeNATM cause much fewer mutations in the Ames test. In addition SeeNATM has a negative result in mouse marrow chromophilous aberration test.
